Motorola doesn’t sounds pretty good at keeping secrets. This happens quite intermittently. The latest leak involves the Motorola i776 that will be available from Target.

Target has revealed the complete product page for Boost’s Motorola i776. The page claims the phone to be available in stores (not available online) but we are not sure if you will actually find one somewhere as Boost hasn’t officially announced the phone yet.

Motorola i776

The mobile community welcomed the RAZR and ROKR designs by Motorola but it’s unsure if you really will appreciate an old-school stub antenna in Motorola i776. The addition of antenna will be definitely reckoned by the buyers to pause for a while.

The phone targets the mid-range market but the antenna will surely force buyers to think twice before they invest their money on it. This prepaid handset is expected to be accompanied by:

  • Built-in GPS receiver
  • 3.5 hours of talk time and 84 hours of Standby Time
  • 600 contact capacity
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Doubles up as wireless modem via miniUSB

No idea on how much this traditional remix handset will cost.

iPod nano 4G has been rumoured to be unveiled on September 9. Apple will be introducing product updates on that date, with the rumored iPod nano 4G being revealed on that day as well. So If you really want to check the odds and even of the the fourth generation ipod nano, set an alarm for September 9. In this context the significance of ipod accessories keeps on augmenting indeed!

Digg founder Kevin Rose claims that a tall iPod nano is in the works, featuring not only a tall screen ratio but a heavily redesigned shell. The venerable click wheel will remain, but the form factor as you can see here is rather...surprising. The” love it or hate it" affair sets really in dilemma if the next nano were to look like that. I suppose it will take some time to adapt to, but what's more important is the innards of the nano 4G. nano 4G is expected to be aggressively priced to distant itself from the $199 iPhone as much as possible, so this would indicate iPhone sales cannibalizing iPod nano figures. Would you be upgrading your nano to the latest version when it is released?
