Mio has unveiled a new Leap K1 phone featuring a concept similar to SPH-M620 (Sprint Upstage in the U.S) – On one side is a decent cell phone while on the other it features a built-in GPS. The dual-face design surely seems to be an innovative concept.

The Leap K1 phone is an ideal one for those who want two functions namely phone and GPS in a compact format. What’s more the phone isn’t expensive either. At the moment, the K1 is available in China. Some of the basic features to watch out for are:

  • Triband Network (900/1800/1900MHz).
  • Built-in 20 channel GPS receiver with pre-installed MioMap 2008 software.
  • 2.6-inch excellent touch screen.
  • A 1.69-inch OLED display screen on the other side.
